QuickRingsTM Rapid Prototyping from Precix

QuickRingsTM is a rapid prototyping process developed at Precix® to offer our customers fast, accurate, and efficient samples for testing. QuickRingsTM supplies you with sample parts in as little as 10 days because Precix® engineers work closely with all aspects of product manufacturing, from initial design through compound mixing and final molding.

QuickRingsTM criteria for o-rings/seal rings:

Must use existing thermoset compound formulation.
Maximum outside diameter: 2.50".
Maximum cross section .210".
Maximum quantity of samples per outside diameter:

0 to 0.250" - 1,500 pieces
0.250" to 0.500" - 750 pieces
0.500" to 1.500" - 500 pieces
1.500" to 2.500" - 100 pieces

Delivery within 10 working days.
No PPAP will be issued.

QuickRingsTM criteria for functional samples:

Must use an existing thermoset compound formulation.
Maximum testing size: 3" x 3" x 3".
Delivery will be reviewed and quoted on a part by part basis, for Custom Molded Products.
Delivery will be reviewed and quoted on a part by part basis for Flashless (transfer molded).
Design must be axi-symmetric and non-inserted.
No PPAP will be issued.
Maximum order is 100 pieces.

QuickRingsTM policies on tools and ownership

Precix® will hold all tools created for the QuickRingsTM process for a maximum of one calendar year. At the end of one year, the tool will be recycled.
Tools created for the QuickRingsTM process that are worn after the samples are produced will be recycled at that time.
All QuickRingsTM tooling is the property of Precix®
Limited additional sample parts from an existing tool sample will be delivered in 7 working days.

QuickRingsTM criteria for non-functional sample requests:

Maximum size 12" x 6" x 6".
Using either either CAD drawing or math data.
Delivery will be reviewed and quoted on a part by part basis.
For "visual" and "fit" purposes only.
No performance or functional testing will be done.
No PPAP will be issued.

Maximum order is 10 pieces.
